"Packaged with a black label, the organic and biodynamic 2017 Brunello di Montalcino Corte Pavone is lush and rich, but it also shows balance. The wine starts off with sweet fruit tones and lots of black cherry withspice, tar and cedarwood. There is a general softness or integration tothese flavors that gives this bottle the upper edge in a challengingvintage."
"Cassis and red berries, together with some wet-leaf, fine musk and dried-meat savoriness here. A medium-bodied Brunello with tight anddusty tannins that knit the juicy entry of fresh berries with the long,berry-oriented finish. Some mossy spices at the end, too. Drink or holdfor a few years."
