"The 2017 Julian Reynolds Reserva is mostly a blend of 50% Alicante Bouschet and 40% Touriga Nacional, plus 10% Syrah, aged for 12 months inused French oak vats. It comes in at 13.3% alcohol. This is a somewhatbigger version of the Carlos Reynolds Tinto but with a few more years ofage. It maintains the same fruit-forward demeanor and intense flavorsbut even more so the superb feeling of freshness. It adds a bit more ofa tannic backbone too, although nothing too astringent. It's delicious, lively and structured. It's a nice price point for the quality, if youlike this fresh style. (Who doesn't?)"
